Brothers Jeremy Kimmel and Jason Kimmel have lived in Alaska since 1981. They each have a long history in the restaurant and hospitality industries, and share a passion for food and food service. The American Diabetes Association’s mission statement is: to prevent and cure diabetes and improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Such a large undertaking needs passionate and generous support from local individuals, organizations, and companies. We are fortunate to have such a partnership with Peppercini’s Deli House through. They go above and beyond to help us reach the 68,500 Alaskans affected by diabetes and another 90,000 Alaskans affected by pre-diabetes. They are a top contributor to our Tour de Cure event and have willingly offered support in multiple other ways. They have love for our community and have answered the call to Stop Diabetes®!

Peppercini’s dedication to helping those affected by disaster in the community is outstanding. They provide last-minute meals at Red Cross shelters, ensuring people have nourishing food after losing everything in a house fire.

Peppercini’s has been a staunch supporter of the Anchorage Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis for many years in helping us to raise funds and awareness.  There are over 116,000 Alaskan children and adults who suffer from this dreadful disease on a daily basis; and when we asked Peppercini’s (Jason Kimmel) for their support, they jumped at the chance to help.  Not only has Peppercini’s raised cash, created promotions on our behalf, and provided catering for our VIP area; but they are a pleasure to partner with and so much fun!  They have great suggestions on how to get the word out and are willing to implement these ideas which can be a challenge to find.  Peppercini’s wants to make a difference in peoples’ lives and in their community, and the Arthritis Foundation’s Alaska Office is very fortunate to be associated with such a fantastic civic minded group.

2013 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis
For well over a decade, Jason Kimmel and Jeremy Kimmel of Peppercini’s Deli and Catering have been extremely generous and supportive of Hope Community Resources and the people who choose our supports. These brothers, and their entire staff, have an amazing commitment to their community that is unparalleled.

They assist Hope Community Resources in their fundraising efforts through donations, employee incentives and providing food for our volunteers. Hope will always be grateful to them, not only for their kindness, generosity and donations, but particularly for their welcoming of all who experience disabilities as valued, equal and dignified members of our shared community.

Hope Community Resources was proud to award Jason and Jeremy with the Outstanding Community Partnership Award at a celebration held in September 2013.
